One of our early hacks was when we were stuck for space and needed a stand for a Pioneer RMX500
I took a jagermeister box from the club bar (empty of course) grabbed a multi-tool and got the shape and holes I needed for it to site at the back of a Pioneer DJM900 mixer, clearing all the cables and allowing the RMX500 to sit nicely at the top of the mixer. I've actually done this a few times, maybe i should make one that's foldable and i can bring around with me.
